There are plenty of things to do on a rainy summer day, like making tiny drums out of tin cans! I think rainy days are the best for making crafts.

Balloon Inflation Experiment!
T.G.I.F. to you all and it seems like a perfect Friday for another science-themed craft!
This craft teaches kids simple science experiments using ingredients or supplies that already exist in the kitchen. I found this inspiration on http://www.sciencebob.com/experiments/fizzinflator.php, and the idea is to combine baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) and vinegar (acetic acid) to create carbon dioxide (CO2).
Also, there's less clean up compared to a homemade volcano! Good luck on your experimenting and have fun with it!
