Puffy Paint: Snow Edition!

Today's craft is... Puffy paint! Only this is a special kind of puffy paint, it involves iridescent glitter to give it a real snow feel!

The creator of this blog used peppermint extract, which is entirely optional.  I believe you have to use a more sturdy paper type like cardboard or watercolor paper. Or any paper that will not be ruined by moisture.

3D Snowman

Has it snowed where you live yet? It’s getting pretty cold! If there happens to be no snow or if it’s way too cold to go outside you can make a really “cool” snowman inside the house. To make this snowman you have to cut out lots of circles and then attach them in a special way that makes the snowman 3D!

Maple Syrup Taffy

It hasn't snowed for a while now. Maybe Spring is finally on it's way! When Spring is on it's way that means it's maple sugaring season. Delicious! You might need to dig just a little to get some good, clean snow for this delicious winter snack, but it will be worth it!

Macaroni Snowflakes

It has been so cold outside! If it's too cold to play outside in the snow you can make your own snowflakes inside...out of pasta!!! Ice Mandala

Here is a really "cool"  craft that takes a little bit of patience, but the end results are really fun to see! Snowman Measuring Stick

We're supposed to be getting a snowstorm in a couple of days. There might be a little more snow than this snowman can handle, but it would sure be fun to put him outside at the beginning of the storm and watch the blanket of snow get higher and higher. Melted Snowman!!

Did you know you can build a snowman inside?! Well, he wouldn't actually be made out of snow, but he'd still be pretty cute! Of course, you know if you built any sort of snowman inside he would be melted, even if he was just made of felt, Styrofoam, and a few other things.

Snowman Handprint Ornament
