Do you have extra materials left over from a baking or cooking experiment and don't know what to do for a simple yet fun craft with the kids? Why not try making a science themed lava lamp using just four ingredients from the kitchen?!
This is a pretty neat and simple science experiment that involves color and bubbles! I made one of these last year, and they really are easy to make but more fun to watch!
However, I do recommend using a jar or a bottle that has the ability to be more air tight than a peanut butter jar, because messes like to accompany most experiments without fail.

Have fun and enjoy!
